What is Participative Leadership?

Answered By Editor

Participative leadership, also known as democratic leadership, is thought to be the most effective of leadership styles. Democratic leaders mentor and offer guidance, but they also participate with the group. Although the leader has the final say in the decision, group members are encouraged to give their input and to be more engaged, thus feeling more creative and motivated.
