one thing you need to keep in mind is that management is something you can learn….but you can not learn how to be a leader. good leaders are born as leaders.

How do people at the top keep the people who work for them motivated and on board with the mission of the orgnaization?
For people to be on board they have to feel ownership of the mission, it has to benefit them in some way, and they have to feel important to the organization.

There seems to be a couple of different concepts among the different funds
1. put a face on it (star system) rises or falls on one person
2. management by committee eliminates the problem when your fund get raided and the bright guy/gal takes a walk
