Why do CONSERVATIVE WHITE MEN hate women leadership ?

Can you answer zulu man’s question about Leadership Development?:

I notice that this is much more of a heritage thing. And some
may link it to certain religious beliefs. About women being
in power. But I do realize something. And NO this is not
a racist statement. Most White Men are less comfortable
with women leadership than Black Men. Why is that ?
It may stem from a long history of voting rights, or old
Southern Traditions or gender stereotypes. We all know
that Conservatives are much more strict when it comes to
roles being played by women, especially in a position of
power. Which would explain the GOP’s attitude towards
Hillary Clinton. They deem her as a staunched Liberal
Feminist……. Go figure. Poor judgment, one would agree.
Only a child would promote such stereotypes, cause being
a woman, does not disqualify you from being a capable and
strong leader. She is qualified, and have the best people
backing her. Now answer the question please. Thanks.

THE ORANGE. No offense but I just
have to say this. The last time I checked, (pausing), White Women
get along just fine, with Black Men.
If you know what I mean…… :)

Leadership Development Feedback: Thanks for promoting unfair stereotypes!

Leadership Development Feedback: When has a conservative white male ever respected a female?

Leadership Development Feedback: Hmmmm…..There are exceptions. But generally it could be that they feel the most threatened. This seems like a typical reaction to protect yourself. The underlying problem is that there aren’t enough good paying jobs. We are too stressed. Everyone feels it. But the people in power (it’s still majority white males) have the most to potentially lose.
Of course a woman can handle the position as President. Of course.

edit: I know plenty of women that support Obama. I like Obama. I prefer him to Hillary. I think Obama has a better work ethic these days than does Hillary and it’s caused him to be right on issues like the Iraq war. He has been critical of NAFTA as he should be. Hillary has ties to corporate interests and special interests.

Leadership Development Feedback: And by your logic, white women seem to have a problem with black men.

Leadership Development Feedback: What a BS statement it has nothing to do with the fact she is a woman it has to do with the fact the she is Hillary Clinton. If Condalisa Rice was running she would have all kinds of support for conservative white men.

Leadership Development Feedback: I don’t think they hate it as much as they FEAR it.
They are the party of fear - they spread it by fear mongering and by doing this only show how fearful each one of them really is.

Leadership Development Feedback: why do libs lie so much , condi rice ring a bell , margret thatcher was a torry = a conserv., so i guess you should ask why you support a party that has done less for minorities and woman when it comes to putting them in postion of power

Leadership Development Feedback: I enjoy being led by a woman as long as she has a nice smile, decent legs, and a warm heart.

Leadership Development Feedback: I have no problem with a woman leading this country as long as she is in line with my political views.

Leadership Development Feedback: You’re on here trashing Obama and praising Hillary every day; so your question isn’t really worth reading.

Just admit Obama’s the better candidate and we as Americans proudly choose him over Hillary.

Leadership Development Feedback: that’s a pretty biased blanket statement…its not a good idea to generalize about any particular group of ppl whether its blacks, whites, asians etc. yes there are some things specific to certain cultures but to assume that all conservative white men hate women leadership is not only ludicrous but bigoted. that’s like saying all black men are drug dealers or all jews money hungry…neither are true and neither is it true about white male conservatives. be careful how you stereotype and judge people you don’t know

  14. Yahoo Answer Angel on January 12th, 2010 11:03 am

Leadership Development Feedback: I’m conservative, and I’m happy to vote for conservative women candidates that run against liberal men, or liberal women, or liberal male/female minorities that are pregnant or paraplegics.

You must have no idea how distasteful Bill Clinton’s presidency was for us. We absolutely disliked Hillary even back then, and we don’t want them back in the White House, even to have coffee with the president.

There ya go, I know it’s disappointing…your generalization about conservative white men doesn’t have to do with irrational stereotypes about the woman’s place in society…the real answer is we vote for conservatives.

Leadership Development Feedback: Most people would ask where you get your data from. I posted a question a year ago wondering whether the US would be ready for a female president, and have seen a few other people post similar ones. I didn’t see anyone say we can’t have a woman leading us.

A lot of people have a problem with the female candidate running for president now. Many of the Republicans who answered said they’d vote for Rice when she has enough experience. So maybe the Clinton bashing is just Clinton bashing, not woman bashing.

Leadership Development Feedback: Conservative white men hate women leadership cause those men all think that women should just be barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen. That is what a good conservative white woman would do. Liberal white guys aren’t much better. Men in general are just afraid of women being in a position of power over them.

Leadership Development Feedback: What about Muslim men, they treat women like shiit but I guess that’s OK as long as it’s not a white male

  18. SteveA8 on January 20th, 2010 9:40 am

Leadership Development Feedback: Not at all. Margret Thatcher was a fine leader, as were many others. Conservatives hate Hillary because she is a phony, pretentious, lying, conniving, grasping, power hungry b!tch, who will do anything to win the White House IMHO. She makes me want to vomit every time I see or hear her.

Leadership Development Feedback: As a conservative white male, I much prefer Hillary over Barack. And any conservative who understands politics should feel the same way. In fact, I even considered going to vote for Hillary in the primaries because it’s clear John McCain already has the republican nomination locked up.

Leadership Development Feedback: I believe some people, conservative or not, have a problem with women in leadership positions. I believe some people, conservative or not, have a problem with a Yankee in a position of leadership. I believe some people, conservative or not, have a problem with Catholics in positions of leadership. Why? My guess would be personal preference and beliefs. It’s something we do here in America. Everyone, regardless of race, or sex, has the opportunity to excel. And everyone also has the right to their own beliefs.

  21. Verbal_Abrasion on January 28th, 2010 1:06 am

Leadership Development Feedback: You mean like Pelosi blowing her chance at being #3 in the world (power-wise) and my absolute refusal to accept it’s not because she’s a woman, it’s because she’s a vile, ignorant mutt disguised as a woman in pantyhose so tight it’s restricting the natural blood flow to her brain… The same woman conservatives warned democrats about for being incapable of understanding the differences between her own personal needs or greed vs. what this Country needs?

Or are you talking about Hillary - the same woman republicans have been warning liberals about for 16 years… About her thirst for power and the people she enjoys stepping on and ruining on her way to get it?

    edit:
Zulu man said, “No offense but I just

I say: It’s nice to see how poorly you treat women of your own color while drooling and lusting over white women - as your sexists remarks indicate by insulting others.

    Nice job. Thank you. Bravo!

  22. mjmayer188 on January 30th, 2010 3:43 pm

Leadership Development Feedback: I don’t think we have a problem women in leadership roles. We just don’t like Hillary. There is no leadership there.
