Do men take to leadership more easily than women or are we all just trained a certain way?

Leadership Development Feedback: If we got equal numbers of men and women striving for leadership roles it would be 50/50, women make different choices and often prefer work / life balance.
The only way they are going to get their 50/50 is by enforcing it, handicapping some and giving positions to others based on their gender.
Leadership Development Feedback: I’ve met quite a few women who say only heartless bitches make it to the top.
With that view, I can see why there aren’t more women striving for it.
I’ve made my peace with it, and embrace my inner “evil” when necessary. It’s kinda hard some times, and I’m not even at the “top”.
You have to walk over people. If you’re too much of a bleeding heart, you’ll be the stepping stone for someone else.
I think a lot of women just can’t reconcile the two sides it takes to get there.
Leadership Development Feedback: Leaders arise out of need. Women were so much stronger before the 2nd feminist wave hit. If society doesn’t expect anything out of a group, that group falls into jelly-spined ruin. True with western women, true with the black community, and increasing true for white men.
Leadership Development Feedback: Depends on the situation and individual. I’ve worked with FEMALE referees where they were the leader (center referee) of the match.
